About the West`s:
    Anthony West Immigrated to America in 1622 at the age of 16. He came on the ship `James` to Virginia from Stepney, England. (see family tree). We will start with Eli West, he was a farmer, came to Cedar County, Iowa, from Ohio in  1855. His wife was Sarah Hartt. They had eleven children (see family tree).  One of their son`s, Charles Asbury West had gone to Obrine County, Iowa and  took a homestead in 1868. Here he met and married Ellen Wooster in 1878.  They  had 13 children (see family tree) while in Obrine County. One was Charles  Henry (Harry) West, my wife, Patt Odell (West) Grandfather. Then Charles and  Ellen moved to Union County, Iowa in the fall of 1889, where they rented a  farm. Here two more children were born (see family tree).

About the Ingebretson`s: 
    Patt Odell(West) great-grandfather is Ole Ingebretson (Sr). He immigrated  to America in 1866 from Lom Gudbransdaline, Norway at age 21. He settled in  Lincoln County, South Dakota.  
    Patt`s great-grandmother is Anna Ingebretson (Nipen) immigrated to America  from Hosanger, Norway. I don`t know what year or her age. She settled in  Lincoln County, South Dakota. Ole(Sr)and Anna were married on Jan. 3rd, 1876.  They had 11 children, one was Patt`s Grandfather Ole Ingebretson(Jr). (see  family tree for other children).

About the Hermanson`s:
    My Grandfather is Harry Hermanson. His father, my great-grandfather is Erik Hermundsen Hestetun. Erik`s family immigrated to America in 1880 from Aardal  Sogn, Norway. This included Erik, age 27, his father Hermund, age 56, his  mother Anne, age 63, his sister Ingeborg, age 21, His sister Britha, age 31,  Britha`s husband Ole, age 31, Ole and Britha`s two son`s Erik, age 6 and  Anders 2 months old. They settled in Bricelyn, Minnesota. Harry changed his  last name to Hermanson from Hestetun. I don`t know why.
    My Grandfather, Harry Hermanson mother is Ingeborg Sjursdatter Oren. My  Great Grandmother. Ingeborg immigrated to America with her brother Peder  Sjursen Oren on June 6th, 1885 from Aardal Sogn, Norway. Ingeborg was 16 years  old, Peder was 18 years old. They settled in Bricelyn, Minnesota. Ingeborg met  Krik Hermanson and they got married on May 26, 1887 in Bricelyn, Minnesota.  They had 7 children, one was my Grandfather Harry Hermanson.
